Hi!

Well, I don’t know if this picture is my favorite, but definitely I love it and makes me proud.

I don't know who took the picture, as I picked it up from a story on Instagram. But I appear in the last play I did at school. This one was about an old age spouses, the bad old age of most elderly people in Chile; it dealt with issues of pensions, loneliness, madness, and sadness, but it also had scenes of laughter and typical funny situations we live with our grandparents.

I wrote this play with my partner, and then we acted it together (we were scriptwriters and actors). This photograph makes me feel very proud because it caused a lot of impact on the audience; when the play ended, they closed the curtains and then opened again to we bow, with my partner we realized that there were many people excited and a few crying. We couldn’t believe it, because we did not do the play with that intention, but it filled our hearts immensely, from that moment we knew we did a good job.

Then, when the misses were supposed to speak, one of them couldn’t, because her voice was broken and full of emotion (this sounds very dramatic hahaha, and yes, it was). The days after the play were still exciting because our classmates came up to congratulate us and people from other classes asked us how we had done the plot.

I don't have any more pictures about that day, but I think that one alone is enough to remember my last play, which I loved doing so much.
